CLOTHING
If you are going to train silks, hoop or rope make sure that your skin is covered, coton material is the best for silks and rope, for hoop it can be variable but any material than covers your skin and let you slide is a good option.
MATS
I recommend to put a mat under your apparatus even if your are just doing conditioning. There are different king of mats.
If you are working on conditioning near the floor I recommend a landing mat of at least 5 cm thickness.
Made from multi-layered foam providing improved load distribution and optimum stabilization when landing. 20 CM thickness minimum.
Landing mat, , ights further than 4m: I recomend a thick mat covered, and made out of soft foam or air mat of at least 60 CM.
GRIP & PRODUCTS
To feel safe on the air the strength on your grip is the key. Sometimes there are factors out of your control that make your grip slippery and dangerous. Some EXAMPLES are sweat, costums made out of lycra or other syntetics fabrics, humidity, dryness…
